FAQs

Why do I have to make an appointment?

We offer one on one service in a studio setting, you’ll need an appointment, so we can give you our undivided attention.

What should I bring to a consultation?

You don’t need to bring anything; a nude coloured or strapless bra and a pair of your favourite heels can help, but they are not essential.

Is there a consultation fee?

No, we’d love to show you what we can do for you, it will be our pleasure!

How many people can I bring along to my appointments?

We work in a studio setting, bringing along your closest family or friends for support is great, just remember whilst it’s helpful to have the opinions of your nearest and dearest, it can be overwhelming with too many voices at once. We recommend one or two, three at the most.

How far ahead should I order my gown?

In an ideal world, eight months to a year or so ahead is great, it will help you get everything else that revolves around what you wear organised. We are typically fully booked during the peak seasons, however, if you have less time, we can most likely still help you, you may just have to choose from a limited selection of laces or fabrics, depending on availability.

Can you incorporate my ideas into my gown?

Yes, we offer a one on one custom design service and can advise you on what will work best, we love hearing your ideas and translating the best proportions and styling into the perfect gown for our clients

How do I pay for my gown?

Our general terms are a 50% deposit, 25% progress payment at 3rd fitting and the balance at pick -up. If you prefer a payment plan, please just ask, we are happy to divide your account into monthly payments.

How many fittings will I need after I order my Wedding gown?

Couture gowns generally require four to five fitting appointments and a pick-up appointment, Demi Couture gowns require one to two appointments and a pick-up appointment.

How are your garments made?

All of our gowns are made ethically here in our Roseville Atelier, which sits right above our studio. We love what we do, and it shows in every stitch. Our fabrics are sourced from Europe and the Far East, highly skilled specialist staff finish each garment with care by hand.
